Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Material Runner to support our field operations by delivering construction materials, tools, and equipment to various job sites throughout the Triangle area. This position plays a critical role in maintaining productivity, reducing downtime, and ensuring that our crews have what they need—when and where they need it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment from suppliers, warehouses, or our shop to active job sites.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and organizing materials upon arrival.
- Communicate with superintendents & foremen to prioritize delivery needs based on daily schedules.
- Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and other required documentation.
- Perform basic inventory and restocking duties as needed.
- Keep work vehicles clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Support site crews with light labor tasks as needed between runs.
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have experience pulling a trailer.
- Loading and unloading heavy materials.
- Must be willing to work weekends.
- Must have at least 1 year experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 regularly.
